You can increase levels of nitric oxide by ingesting dietary nitrate.

Why is that important? Nitric oxide in the gas that you increase by taking Viagra (or Cialis or Levitra). So, boosting levels of nitric oxide is a good thing for sexual health. Which foods have nitrate? Lettuce and beets. So, eat lots of these. 1

Beet juice is especially high in nitrate (but don’t worry when it turns your pee red – nothing wrong with that).

Note: to get the lingual (tongue) bacteria to reduce (convert) nitrate to nitrite, don’t use mouth wash. This kills the bacteria that lives under your tongue.
So – eat beets and don’t brush your teeth, and you will have more nitric oxide for healthier blood vessels, lower blood pressure, and (hopefully) better erections.
